The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor Wiki

Introduction

This section include any Sculptural lifeforms, sculpted by users or NPC that appear in the game world of The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor.  There is already more than 50 Sculptural lifeforms revived by Weed alone[1]. If you had the quest in the warring age, you are over 60. Forty seven, at least, are known to be alive[2].

Sculptural lifeforms typology

All Living sculpture behave either as living tamed monsters, faithfull NPC, or even living elemental sculptures.

Faithful Sculpted NPC

Not all living sculptures are living sculpted monsters. Some are regular NPC, and behave accordingly. For example, the barbarian Bahamorg or the high Elf, Etin.

Living tamed monsters

Most of the living sculptures are living sculpted monsters. Not all of them where sculpted by Weed or even awoken by him. Some have also reverted to regular species, like for example the avians.

Sculpted elemental lifeforms

Not all living sculptures were made through sculptural life bestowal skill. Dirtman, droplet, fiery peebble and xing were given life through elemental sculpture skil. Elemental sculpting skill should be considered as a special (body) bestowing skill for entities from the Elemental Plane.

Temporary Sculptural lifeforms

NPC from the past resurrected by Weed's sculpting power could be considered as temporary sculptural lifeforms, revived for 24 hours. Those famous NPC of the past are not forced to be faithful to Weed. They can refuse to serve him, which is another major difference.

Only exception to this is Bar Khan (without Lugh's Sword). When he had 16 hours of lifespan left due to Sculptural Resurrection, he managed to transform into an Arch-Lich, granting himself immortality. Thus, it overrides the limitations of Sculptural Ressurection. This only happened due to the absence of Lugh's Sword on his chest (which lowered his powers in the past).

Sculptural lifeform description

Being a Sculptural lifeforms, means:

  • They are living entities of their own, with their own personality and history, exactly like monsters.
  • They develop and grow over time.
  • They can breed, if the sculptor took the breeding issue into consideration

But:

  • They are faithful to their master,
  • If they are in large number or of large size and high level, their tamer may have difficulties to manage them.

Also :

  • Sculptural lifeforms brought to life where not always sculpted by Weed.
  • Sculptural lifeforms were not only brought to life by Weed. Some were given life by Geihar von Arpen himself.
  • If they are not completely annihilated, living sculpture can be revived. This is, for example, what Weed did with Bamahorg, which was sculpted by Geihar.

Extra Notes

  • Appearances just means the first time and/or the only time they show up in the novel, same with mentioned. If it is a "Sculpture of Life", then its first appearance would be when it was first brought to life.
  • Level means the level that monster was when it first appeared in the novel. Some living scultures level up throughout the novel after they became alive.

Trivia

  • Weed cherishes deeply his sculptural lifeforms. For example, he gave to 47 of them fairy water[3]. To him they are both a precious investment, and like his children.
  • The expression sculptural lifeforms
