  • Apparently it seems that Chakujel noticed that Weed's sculpture lifeforms weren't human. [1] And that he'll also get some vengeance for getting his plans ruined. [2]

Chakujel being a Warlock and trying to summon demons screams that he belongs to the Embinyu Church. (or might be the one who started it)

If it is indeed true, then Weed's luck is really, really bad to be always tied to the Embinyu Church. It's the fifth time I think?

    Thoughts anyone?

Chakujel is not only a Warlock, he is the highest warlock alive and he is at the peak of his art (if i understood correctly).

And Weed met him just before the warlock profession was hunted down by the Raun Kingdom (which was at th edge of becoming an Empire = almost same level as Hermes guild or Haven Kingdom )

So, yeah, this is a big deal in the history of Central Continent. And not just to save a "love story".

      You might be right.

Now the question is : what comes next ? Is the chain quest about to finish ? Or will it continue with/through Chakujel grudge ? ;-)

Demon or devil... those 2 type of monsters are NOT the same. Therefore i would be careful.

I'm not so sure about it. I did not exactly gave the same vibe. But why not ? This might unfold as a battle in the past against Embinyu church. And we may learn more about them. But i still doubt it.

    • Ps - Weed, like every master class is becoming more and more an historical figure. And his action are shaping the future of the Continent. Therefore i believe it is not a matter of good or bad luck. But rather of level of gaming.

And the challenge he face are at the level of gaming level and also, related to his class. ;-)

Weed gets another quest related to Chakujel's vengeance that's why he needs the level grind. Based on what happened to the sculptural lifeforms, he might need to

Sorry. I got the habit from the other novels that alternates between those two words.

If it is indeed true, then would Weed would be like: "Not again?" He always complained whenever he had to deal with Embinyu Church.

It has been proven that sculptors have deep connection with history - Emperor Geihar (and Sculptural Lifeforms), King Belsos, and Ratseburg. And it seem to have a greater weight compared to other classes. Or maybe it's just because Weed was the first one to start a master quest. The first of the firsts.

      Same issue for various translators.

Yep, it was interesting to discover Hermes master plan... and the fact that the Embinyu Church might go out of control. Somehow, it strangely reminds me of US Government behavior...

Probably, and also because of his class and of his skill. HIs master skill are obviously playing a major role. For example : permanent cloud sculpture completely reshaped one of the 10 forbidden zone. And by the way, the second largest part of the Central Continent.

    • We got the answer in v37c4.

And Chakujel's master is a member of Embinyu.

      So you were right.

      Embinyu is back. :-)
